Our Mission
Captured for Change's mission is to use the art of photography to raise money for books and scholarly resources for local communities in the London area.

​​​Over the past two years working alongside students at Instituto Vicente Cañada Blanch, I’ve come to deeply appreciate their enthusiasm for learning. This experience made me passionate about supporting children's learning across my city and inspired this project. Captured for Change was created to help ensure that every student has access to the supplies they need to succeed. By supporting educational equity, we hope to better support and connect the London schooling system.
About Rose
Hi, I’m Rose, the founder of Captured for Change!
My love for photography started in eighth grade, when I took my first photography class and got my first camera. Since then, I’ve been drawn to capturing the beauty in everyday moments, whether it’s nature, people, or the stories unfolding around us. Through Captured for Change, I hope to use photography not just as an art form, but as a way to make a meaningful impact.

For the past two years, I’ve worked with students in afterschool programs at Instituto Vicente Cañada Blanch. In that time, I’ve come to know the incredible, hardworking community of students and families. It inspired me to become more aware of the challenges some families face in affording essential school books in London. I realized how real and widespread the issue is. It was upsetting to think that some students might miss out on learning opportunities simply because of the cost of materials. Education should be accessible to everyone. I knew I wanted to help in any way I could to increase access to these resources, which is why I've started this project. I’m excited to use photography to support the London community.
Our Offerings
At Captured for Change, we offer both photo prints and posters, as well as a private photography session. All profits are used to fund school books and scholarly resources in London schools, like Instituto Vicente Cañada Blanch.
